I sat in the garage today and procrastinated.  I could have fitted the rear springs but decided that I should really get new shackle bolts and self locking nuts.  I could have fitted the front suspension but decided that I needed a set of feeler gauges. I washed the motorbike instead.  It looks very nice.

For the last two weekends I have been continuing with the clean up and painting of the off-side front suspension.  I striped the hub down and cleaned out a lot of very congealed grease.

The hub came up well though and like the other side had very clean splines, very pleased.

I finished cleaning up the shock absorber and topped it up with oil before getting painted.

I also finished the final spring pan.





























I am now at the stage where I have none of the running gear to renovate so I will have to start putting it all together; should be fun.
